形态描述：直立草本，高30-50厘米；枝稍粗壮，无毛，节上缢陷明显。叶披针形或卵状披针形，顶端呈弯弓的尾状渐尖，基部稍偏斜，狭楔形，全缘，长6-12厘米，宽1-4厘米，纸质，通常仅中脉上被柔毛，钟乳体针状，不甚明显，干时上面有时具颗粒状隆起；中脉稍阔，干时背面平扁，侧脉每边6-7条，两面稍隆起；叶柄长1.5-3厘米。头状花序被腺毛，常2或3个聚于顶生或腋生的总花梗上，总苞片2枚，剑形或线状披针形，比萼齿长一倍以上，长10-14毫米，宽1.5-3毫米；萼长约5毫米，裂片长4毫米；花冠淡红色，长约4.3厘米，被柔毛，冠管狭长，为花冠之半，唇片为1/2。雄蕊2，外露，药室矩圆形，一上一下，分离。柱头稍膨大。蒴果长1.4厘米，被柔毛。花期10月。
